Welcome to my website!
I'm Sweta, a research assistant at the Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, where I have the opportunity to work under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marc Aubreville. I’m currently involved in the (mu)ROMI project, which focuses on Robust and Accurate Multi-Tumor, Multi-Species, Multi-Laboratory, and Multi-Scanner Mitosis Detection. I am also pursuing a cooperative doctorate in Computer Science at Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg, jointly supervised by Prof. Dr. Marc Aubreville and Prof. Dr. Katharina Breininger. You can also find me here, as part of the DeepMicroscopy group.
My passion lies at the intersection of deep learning, mathematics, and pathology, where I focus on advancing AI-driven methods for medical image analysis. I am particularly drawn to self-supervised learning, domain adaptation, and multi-modal approaches in histopathology – exploring how these techniques can improve diagnostic accuracy, generalizability, and clinical efficiency. Beyond the technical, I find myself equally motivated by the broader question of how AI can meaningfully support pathologists in practice. I'm always eager to explore new ideas, take on collaborative challenges, and engage with exciting developments in the field. If you share similar interests or have an intriguing project in mind, I'd love to connect!
Before this, I earned my MSc in Mathematics and Computing from Banaras Hindu University.
